I wasn’t really hungry for dinner at work on Thursday night, and it’s either a good thing or a bad thing that I didn’t eat — depending upon how you look at it!
I came home, and the boyfriend had prepped some chicken wings and homemade fries for the deep fryer.
He breaded half of them, and deep fried the other half without breading, and was kind enough to allow me to have two regular chicken wings and some fries 🙂
My apologies for the poor photography! It was late, dark and we were hungry! Plus, chicken wings aren’t the most attractive things in the world 😛
No, this meal was not at all Paleo — as it was entirely deep fried and potatoes are not allowed on the Paleo diet, but it was SO. GOOD.
Sometimes you just have to eat chicken wings and fries late at night with you boyfriend!
The chicken wings were served with a new barbecue sauce the boyfriend picked up — made in Wisconsin!
The fries were seasoned with salt, pepper and a steakhouse cheeseburger type seasoning.
I ate the meal with the salad I had intended upon eating for dinner on Thursday at work.
So good, but my tummy wasn’t too happy on Friday! That’s okay though, because I jumped right back onto the healthy eating wagon!
