I discovered this recipe posted on Facebook via The Paleo Mom — a recipe for Meatballs with an Asian dipping sauce!
The picture here pulled me in, and got me to thinking this would be a great weekend recipe when I’m looking for weekend meal ideas!
The meatballs are made using grass-fed beef, pecans, onion, egg, coconut oil and seasoning, and are baked for about 15 minutes or until fully cooked.
The Asian Dipping Sauce is essentially a homemade soy sauce that contains no soy. The sauce is basically poured into a homemade Paleo mayo.
The sauce consists of ingredients like coconut aminos (Paleo soy sauce), fish sauce, ACV, honey, mustard, sesame oil, egg, and seasonings.
The soy sauce is heated up on the stove, and then combined with the blended egg, vinegar and mustard (mayo).
These meatballs would be perfect with an Asian-y side salad!
